Microsoft had announced last October that they will make the source code for .Net available with Visual Studio 2008. Well, I got Visual Studio 2008 in December, but the source code feature wasn’t ready yet.
This afternoon I discovered that it is ready now. Shawn Burke wrote instructions how to do it in his blog.
I think it is great that it is possible now to debug into .Net code – this will make a lot of things much easier to debug.
Update 2008-03-28: Somehow the link to Shawn Burke’s blog got lost: http://blogs.msdn.com/sburke/archive/2008/01/16/configuring-visual-studio-to-debug-net-framework-source-code.aspx
